Project

Currently enrolled in a PhD at Macquarie University, studying the interaction of metal complexes with oligonucleotides using NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling, supervised by Dr Peter Karuso.

Academic History

  • Honours project in 1991, undertaking research in crystal structure analysis and molecular mechanics calculations. The work was jointly supervised by Dr Trevor Hambley and Professor Hans Freeman (University of Sydney).
  • Master of Science 1992-3 at the University of Sydney, investigating the active site of the metalloenzyme Prolidase using crystal structure analysis and Extended X-Ray Absorption Fine Structure (EXAFS), supervised by Professor Hans Freeman.

    Selected Publications
